Hi, Swifties! Who else is excited for Taylor Swift's Eras Tour documentary? I saw the trailer this morning and am counting the days until October 13th! Though I didn't get to see the Eras Tour in person...hey, we can't ALL win the Ticketmaster Great War...you better believe I'm pumped to see the movie. Taylor Swift is a once-in-a-generation artist and business mastermind who has managed to create an entire subculture around her music.  In her movie trailer announcement, Taylor encouraged fans to bring their friendship bracelets and sing along at the movie. She's trying to create a communal experience, which, three months ago, I would have thought was pretty far-fetched. But look at what happened with Barbie: We grabbed our friends, wore everything pink, and showed up in droves for a movie that felt like a celebration. Pretty much everyone has a different definition of "preppy style." A few years ago, I would have defined it as brightly colored and New England-ish, but plenty of others would call it simple, tailored, and even a little old school. Now, I think preppy style is timeless, detailed, and classic.  Because these tasteful staples never go out of style, they're a great option for decorating your home. Back-to-school season means shopping for school supplies - or, if you're like me and well past your school days, it means a perfect time to stock up on office essentials! Gone are the days of plain spiral notebooks and three-ring binders. The new 2023 school supplies have their own aesthetic. Who else can't wait to see the Barbie movie? The pink and perky world of Barbie is a marketing sensation, and for good reason.
