Back-to-School (or Work!) Outfits for Fall 2023

Ever since childhood, we are taught that early Fall, back-to-school season, is THE time for a wardrobe refresh. Whether you're headed back to class soon or just wanting a new look for work, this season's latest fashion finds are a great way to showcase your style. 

A great outfit can help you feel confident and comfortable as you start school again or turn over a new leaf at work. But, a great back-to-school wardrobe has to carry your look well beyond Day One! In this post, I've collected first day - and any day! - outfits based on pieces that you can wear well into the Fall.

Preppy
Preppy style and the Fall go hand-in-hand, with classic touches and deep neutral tones. The skirt is a wool blend, which means it will keep you warm well past those first weeks back in the classroom. 



Barbiecore

Who said Summer's over? Pops of pink make this look feminine and fun. The pumps will look just as sharp in Winter as they do in early Fall, and because the pink is a darker shade, the pants are appropriate for more of the season than a paler hue would be. 



Boho Country Western
Nothing says calm and comfortable like these soft, girly pieces. The nap dress looks stylish under a jean jacket when the weather gets cooler.



Old Money Aesthetic
This easygoing look says, "I just hopped off a sailboat in Nantucket." Pair the sweater with jeans and booties later in the season to keep warm as the weather cools!

Preppy Room Decor - Put Some Prep in your Step!

Pretty much everyone has a different definition of "preppy style." A few years ago, I would have defined it as brightly colored and New England-ish, but plenty of others would call it simple, tailored, and even a little old school.
